EXPERIENCE
BACKGROUND
My passion for woodworking started when I was in high school. I took every shop class that I could.
HOBBY
Woodworking became a hobby. I started getting tools for every birthday and Christmas present.
CARPENTRY
I do all kinds of custom carpentry. Everything from custom picture frames to custom cabinets and counter tops.
My Project
My project was to create my own woodworking business. The pictures below are examples of some of the items that I built for my first customers. My favorite was the pizza peel on the top right because it was the first time I laser engraved on of my own projects. I learned a lot from this project and improved my skills in woodworking by building things that I have never built before. One example of this was that I had to build a jig to cut joints on really small frames. I had to figure out how to make the small joints hold and the top middle picture show an example of these frames.
ABOUT ME
My name is Ryan Hulet. I am from Cedar City, Utah. I am studying accounting at SUU, and I currently work as a computer technician at Mountain West Computers. I am married to a beautiful woman and we have a boarder collie named Oakley.
My passion for woodworking started when I was in high school. I took every woodworking class that I could, and I even took state in a woodworking competition.
To this day I love building things, and I am always looking for new things to build.
